Why does nowhere anywhere near where I live or work sell just AR-15 lowers? Is that so much to ask? I want to build the thing from scratch, but noooo. Going to have to expand my search radius.
The only lowers I've ever managed to buy face to face have been at the factory. First Anvil Arms (defunct) then Spike's Tactical. All the others have involved mail-order and transfer fees.
Haven't tried the local gun shows yet, haven't been to one in ages. I know the dedicated gun store that's not really nearby has them, but I was hoping not to drive incredibly far. I seem to be in a dead zone of actual gun stores and ranges, just Dunham's and Gander Mountains and stuff around.
